I have a Designa DS1000. It's been 'on the blink' for 3 years, and now it will only give cold or scolding water. You only list 1 part not now discontinued, the Redring thermal cut out (93672109).
Do you think that that might be the part I require? Do these showers actually keep the temperature at a moderate level by cutting the heater repeatedly each time it would exceed that temperature?Hi Laurence
It is the thermal cut out that you require as this is what switches between the two heating elements

Water is flowing fine threw shower head the light on the shower isn't coming on and the water isn't getting hot what could the problem be
Hello, two things will stop it heating, the pressure switch or the Thermal switch (on top of heater tank) an electrician would be able to test both.
