• In the manual I have for this item 34 310 (comprising top assemblies 19 605 + 34 954) the replacement parts list for the thermoelement (cartridge) specifies 47 280. Is 47 450 the correct fit, form and function replacement?

  Hello, yes the 47280 has been replaced by the 47450

• We have a Grohe 2000 Automatic which has started dripping from the shower head, I was going to order and new head part cartridge to fix this, do I need any O rings as well?
  Also the shower has been running cooler than usual for a while do you think the thermostat needs adjusting? (It does run hot when turned up)

  If you were ordering the head part (45869) the part comes already complete with the seals. The thermostatic cartridge may just need a clean up to cure it

• Hello,
  I think I have Grohe thermostatic valve - 34-954 for our shower. (I am awaiting confirmation from Grohe but from the picture on their website it resembles 34-954 unit).
  However, recently water is dripping from the shower head (Trevi Deluxe A 6019) and the frequency of the drip is increasing each day. I am not sure where the problem lies. Any help will be very much appreciated.

  Hello, if it is a 34954, you need part number 45869 flow valve.

• I have a Grohe 2000 mixer shower, the temperature is a constant 42 - 43 degrees regardless of the position of the temperature control. Does this mean I need to fit a new thermostatic control?

  Hello, yes the 47450 cartridge is seized, you will need to replace it.

• I have a grohe automatic 2000,fitted about twenty years ago. about ten years ago we started only getting cooler showers. this was then cured by fitting thermostatic 1/2" cartridge assembly,part no 47-450. we are having a similar problem again, is the solution likely to be the same or could it be some other reason

  Hello, you need to check the non return valves, just to make sure there is no cross flow taking place, if they are o.k, then a new 47450 will be required

• I HAVE A GROHE 2000 34 954 AUTOMATIC SHOWER VALVE.THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL HAS BECOME IRRATIC.IS IT LIKELY THE THERMOSTATIC CARTRIDGE NEEDS REPLACING AND IF SO WHAT IS THE PART NUMBER FOR THIS COMPONENT.

  Hello, you need to be more specific on the fault as it may not be the temp cart, is it going hot & cold (cycling) or is it hot only or cool only?

• I have a Grohe Automatic 2000 19605 Clova shower control unit and it is leaking from/around the control handle . In 2005 our plumber overhaul it with a repair kit of washers etc from Grohe. Do you still do a washer/o ring replacement set ?
  If so what is the ref number as I need to order one .

  Hello, we do not do seal kits for this valve, you will need either a new flow valve 45869, or 47450 temp cartridge, depending on which is leaking.

• Do we need to order any o rings with the replaceable seat for 19605 grohe automatic 2000 ?

  No, you don't normally have to replace any o'rings with this part.
