I have the Grohe Avensys classic and it is now constantly dripping, what part do i need to replace to correct this please ?
Hi, you need to replace the control unit (Cartridge)

Hi,
I have a problem where the control handle doesn't always return to the 12 o'clock position when turning off the shower. It currently only retreats to around the 9 o'clock position and won't turn back any further. This does stop the flow of water and it appears the shower is off. However, this happened before, then one day I came home to find the shower running. After which, the control handle was able to dial back fully to the 12 o'clock position. It was fine for a while, but now the problem has come back, so I'm worried I'm going to find the shower running again! Can you let me know which parts I might need to replace?
Thanks in advance.Hello, it wil probably need a new control unit, part number 47598

The shower is not passing any water!
There is a trickle on initial turn on, but this quickly stops and then passes no more.Hello, it sounds like there is a blockage in one of the supplies, either blocked or sticky non return valves ( in the inlets ) or blocked inlet filters.
The shower itself can not shut both supplies down at the same time. -
I had a problem with no hot water coming out of my Avensys Classic shower I changed items 5 & 6 on above diagram as directed by Grohe but their is still no hot water coming out only cold.Their is hot water coming till the shower assembly but thats it.What parts do I need to change ,Can you please help
Hello, 5 & 6 should have fixed the fault, have you checked the non return valves in the inlets, you may be getting cross flow. also did you grease the seal in the body, the 07587 fits into an internal o ring in the body, it may need lubricating.

Hi,
Thank you for your earlier response to my question.
I also have another shower of this make at home, where the knob used to start the water flow and adjust the water pressure is not properly functioning. It seems as though the mechanism has lost it's grip inside. Which parts will I need for that?
Also if I wanted to purchase a shower pipe, is there a specific model I would need, or could any generic shower pipe fit the device?
Thank you!Hi,
The part for the shower control would be 47598 and the hose 28151. If you were to enter these numbers you will find the parts/prices -
