hi there the water has stopped coming out all together ive take the cartridge out and turnt the water on and its fine , do I need a complete cartridge
Hello, you need to clean/check the Non return valves, one or both may be jammed, they are in the inlets (one way valves), the shower can not shut both supplies off at the same time, it is a supply problem.

Hot water stop coming out of my Grohe shower mixer tap!
Would I need to change the mixer tap, or can I by replacement parts and fix it?
Can this work be carried out by me or do I need a plumber?
The mixer tap is about 4 years old.Hello, you can repair this shower, it is relatively easy, you need two parts 00798 thermostat and 07587 slider, fit both of these and the shower should be up and running again
