  The MK1 mira vie is no longer available, the shower was replaced with the MK2 mira vie 8.5kw, 9.5kw and 10.5kw

  The silver knob has just broken on my Mira vie shower. Can that be replaced or do I need to get a whole new front.

  Hello, yes, the dials only come as part of the front cover

• Mira Vie cutting out and 1/2 hour before it works again

  If it the temp cutting out you require thermal switch on top of heater, if flow stops you require flow/regulator valve which includes a solenoid.

• I have a Mira Vie Mk1 and it now constantly drips from the showerhead (when it is switched off).

  Hello, it will need a new flow reg, part number 439.78 for the 9.5 % 10.5kw and 1539.379 for the 8.5kw

  just had the mira vie shower for under 1 year and there is no hotwater but the pressure is fine. it was very hot then now no hot water.. what is the problem...

  Hello, the most likely cause is a failed Thermal switch,part number 439.90.

  Hello, it sounds like you are running on half power, you need to establish if it is the heater tank element that has failed or is it just a micro-switch.

• Hello, I have just fitted a Mira vie shower and included an isolator valve in the pipework, will this result in a reduced pressure as the hole is smaller than the 15mm pipe.

  Hello, no, as it is on mains pressure there will be more than enough flow for the electric shower.

• My Mira Vie shower is about 5 years old and now only produces excessively hot water or cold, nothing between. The shower is never used when other equipment is using water, i.e. washing machine or dishwasher. I do live in an area where the water is not particularly soft.
  Can you suggest the likely cause and what I need to do to effect a return to normal.

  Hello, the most likely cause is blockage in the shower head or in the heater tank, you can descale the shower head, but descaling a heater tank is not easy or rarely successful.
  to recap the main cause is a reduced flow rate due to blockage.
