hello my small knob on the shower box has not been working for a while and i really need to get round to fixing it
do you know what part i need for this the shower still works but the knob just turns but does not turn the water off anymore so i have to just use the pullstring
also may i ask if there is something i can do with regards to the heat of the shower as it does nnot seem to get as hot as usual and if i turn the heat knob slighty it goes burning hot
thanksThe fault could be one of a couple of things, either the control knob has split or the solenoid is not working. With the contol knob if you remove the cover and look at the spline of the control knob it will be apparent if split. If it is okay the solenoid valve would need to be tested for continuity to see if one or both of the spades have failed. As for the heat it would be benificial to test the elements and thermal cut out on top of heater tank

Hi there
I have an mx duo lx 8.5 kw model shower unit which continually drips water even when switched off. Can this be rectified or will the shower unit require replacement?Hello, is the drip coming from the shower head or from the box itself? From the head, you will need a new solenoid SG06020, from the box, you will need have the cover off to see where the leak is coming from, please call a plumber.
