• These Aqualisa original brackets replaced the old style (that had both broken). The great thing with this design is you don't need to slide them onto the riser from the top or bottom (which would mean disconnecting the water supply). You simply cut any of the old ones off (with some robust wire cutters or alike) then these new ones clip over the riser. The bottom bracket has a guide/tab that fits into the riser to stop vertical movement. Btw the mounting hole centres are the same as the old ones - so you can use the same holes/plugs.
  All of this makes fitting the new brackets a doddle :)
  They look great - but are expensive like all Aqualisa parts!

  The site was easy to use and the brackets were exactly as described. The brackets were ridiculously easy to fit being a direct replacement.
  The difficulty came in removing the old brackets which were one piece units and had to be carefully cut away with a mini hacksaw, and replacing wall plugs that had become loose in the lightweight blocks. The lower bracket has a spigot that engages in a hole in the back of the riser tube, make sure that you select the correct bracket for this.
