• Where do you start with something like this, it has one purpose in life which is too unscrew the valves in a Bristan Shower, Mine had been dripping for a month and whilst i have changed trhe Cartridge before i have never removed these due to not having anything to unscrew them with and not wanting to make something.
  It does the job well and in about 20 seconds, if you bend the pin it can be unscrewed and replaced and the tool fits a socket - so job done in 10 minutes and just so i dont lose it in my toolbox i've put it in the safe as it was a lot of money to only use it the once

• The tool did the job, and is clearly superior to the plastic version, which failed at the first attempt. However, it *only just* did the job. The pins started to come adrift just as the (somewhat old and limescaled) valve pins came undone. So an improvement woud be to make the pins themselves a little stronger. They seem to be threaded for no apparant reason - removing the threading might add a little strength
