1. The replacement seems to be a better quality than the one it replaced, but I found it impossible to clip on the supplied weight and had to put the one off the old hose back.
2. It would have been handy to have some fitting instructions - it would have been good to know that the hose screwed into a quick-fit connector under the tap - it took me a while to figure out that it could be easily disconnected making it easier to work on.James Croft

This spare part is straight forward to fit onto a Grohe kitchen tap. The main difficulty is the access to the pre-installed tap but it can be done without too much fuss and you don't need to turn off the water supply.
Hopefully it won't split like the one that needed to be replaced, but only time will tell.
