I have a Mira Essentials electric shower (model up to 1998), installed in about 2000. It's never given any trouble until recently..........When the flow controller is turned off, water drips from the shower head at the rate of about a litre every half day. We live in a hard water area and I guess the valve could be furred up. Is there a part available that can be used to remedy the problem. Or can the valve be 'descaled'? I'm not quite sure that I can identify the necessary bit from the drawing on the website.
Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in anticipation.
Peter SmithHello, you will need to replace the Pilot valve 419.87, this will stop the passing of water, the spindle on the new valve has changed in design, so you will have to remove your old spindle and re-fit it to the new valve.
