    • Hi, my shower still trickles water when turned off I have been advised that it is the cartridge causing the problem which is the black one, I thought I would check before purchasing a new one, also I see that you recommend a new seals kit which I would purchase also thanks for your help.

      Hello,
Yes, the shut off seals are inside the cartridge, and as it is a non-serviceable cartridge you would have to replace the cartridge (902.55). Yes, we would also suggest purchasing a new seal kit too (936.22). Thank you.

    • My Mira 415 combiforce shower (2001 - 2004) has started dripping and my plumber has advised me to buy an internal cartridge. should i buy black or grey? and why do you advise to buy a seal pack with this purchase? are the seals not included in the cartridge pack? He didn't say i would need a seal pack!
      thank you
      Pauline Kelly

Hello, if your shower has red button on it, you need the black cartridge, no red button use the grey one, we suggest a seals kit as not all the seals come with the cartridge, enough to fit it, but sometimes very old seal become brittle and you may not be able to re-use them.

    • Hi I have a Mira 415 which has started running hot and cold a plumber mate of mine said it's the thermostat could you guide me to the correct part number for this thank you

Hello, the 415 is not thermostatic, it is pressure balanced, if it is going hot/cold it is usually the boiler 'cycling', the most common cause is a partially blocked shower head, or a blockage somewhere. inlets to valve, shower hose etc.

    • I have a customer with a Mira 415, it hammers loudly when in use, what is wrong it

Hi, the non return valves built into the cartridge inlets are blocked or jammed, try freeing them or replace the 902.55 cartridge assembly
