Can the Mira excel thermostatic cartridge assembly be stripped down and new seals fitted or does it required to be changed out altogether?
Hello, sorry they are not serviceable, the seal kit is just the four external seals.

Having just fitted new inlet filters (Strainer pack 937.79) to my Mira Excel (1996 - 2003) the temperature control ring is locked at setting 5. Any ideas if I have done something that can be reversed, or does it mean replacing the cartridge?
Hello, it sounds like you have refitted the coloured hub in the incorrect postion.

Hi, I have a Mira Excel shower (1990-1996) I was wondering If I could replace part No 079.84 and 935.64 with part No 410.34 to give a chrome finish to the shower controls, thank you in anticipation.

i have a Mira Excel shower, fitted around 1998. when using it the water is going hot to cold every 10 - 20 seconds?
it runs from a combi boiler downstairs, it has only just started to do this, at first i thought it was because someone else was using water elsewhere in house, or washing machine / dishwasher was on, but it does it when nothing else is being used?
any ideas, is it a boiler issue or shower issue?

iT would appear the cartridge may be failing. If you were to remove the cartridge and check the filters either side to see if there is any debris in them, if clear it will be the cartridge that requires replacing -
I need a replacement shower hose. All the generic ones I have tried just leak! Do you know where I can obtain one please Thanks in advance
Hello, the genuine Mira hose is part number 150.58 (plastic coated) or 450.01 metallic finish

Hello, the only cure for this is a new cartridge 903.33.

water pressure drops when dial is turned water comes out boiling .this is a mira excel installed 2001
Please check the inlet filters, if they are clear, you need a new Cartridge 903.33
