• After taking time to source a replacement thermostatic shower cartridge to replace a 10 year old one that was now faulty I found the part from National Shower Spares. The online description of the part was very useful , showing which shower valves it would fit and gave a breakdown image of how it fitted. I ordered the cartridge, had feedback from the company about the delivery service and the new item arrived in 2 days. After arranging for a plumber to do the fitting, it worked beautifully!

• It’s a direct replacement for my seized one and probably the cheapest price I could find. Just make sure you have some silicon grease to help it ‘pop’ into the shower mixer. Without it you’ll probably just rip the o-rings and it still won’t fit!
