• This was a 2nd bite of the cherry after I had misidentified and ordered the wrong cartridge, but the correct carrier the first time around. The NSS team identified the correct cartridge from a photo I supplied. I returned the cartridge, a full refund was credited and the correct part (i.e. this one) was invoiced and supplied very quickly. The modern part supplied today - and the temperature handle carrier - is an improvement on the original design. Installation was quick and easy and worked perfectly straight off the bat. • The temperature control on my Trevi Therm mk1 shower had stopped working so I identified the correct replacement cartridge using the very handy diagrams on the NSS website. Without these diagrams I am not sure I would have risked buying the part but instead gone for the much more expensive option of fitting a new shower. The cartridge arrived quickly and was an original Trevi part.
  As other reviewers have said the tricky bit is getting the old cartridge out. As the shower was built-in the usual adjustable spanners did not reach so I found an old box spanner of around 25mm which (after a bit of filing) fitted. I had to carefully use my biggest monkey wrench on that to start the cartridge turning, but once it was moving it came out easily.
  The new cartridge has cured the problem and the shower is now as good as new.
  So - many thanks to NSS for their excellent website and high quality service!
