1. Order acceptance and processing
Upon successful payment, we will acknowledge your order by sending you a confirmation email. The legally binding contract between us is formed only upon successful despatch of your item(s), at which point you will also receive an email from us confirming this. Orders are only processed on days that we are open; outside of these times, orders will be processed on our next working day (see our opening times page for more information).
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, whole or in part, or to require extra information to process your order, before we have despatched your order.
2. Postage and delivery
We do our best to despatch all orders the same day if your order is placed before 3:30pm Monday-Friday and we are open, but of course all orders are subject to stock availability, which can change daily. If you need an item delivered by a specific time, please pay for a timed/special service. If we do not have stock of an item, or we have insufficient quantity, we will contact you as soon as possible to state a new expected delivery date and whether you still wish to proceed with your order (if not, we will give you a full refund). Any delivery dates we provide are estimates only and can be subject to change, but we will keep you updated as best we can.
It is your responsibility to be at your delivery destination if your order requires signing for; we cannot be held responsible if your order is then delayed within the postal system if you (or a proxy on your behalf) were not in to accept it. We also cannot be held responsible and accept no liability for any delays to your order due factors beyond our control (see section 5 below). If your order does not arrive after 7 working days from the date we confirmed your order as being successfully despatched, please contact us and we will arrange for replacement(s) to be sent out (we will organise with you to send the original item(s) back to us, if they do arrive to you as originally intended after we have sent out the replacement(s)).
Do not arrange for a tradesman to install your item(s) until after they have been delivered and checked (including for any damage). It is your responsibility to ensure that you order from us with enough time before you need the item(s), in case of possible delays.
All postage/delivery charges are applied at the checkout stage; the cost and delivery options will vary depending on your location and the item(s) you are purchasing. Due to size/weight restrictions by Royal Mail, some items cannot be despatched with them and will be sent via other methods, even if you specifically selected Royal Mail. If we change your delivery courier (most usually to ParcelForce), we will cover any extra costs. See our delivery options page for more information.
3. Payment and pricing
We accept all major credit and debit cards, apart from American Express. Credit and debit card transactions with us are processed and secured by Stripe. We also accept PayPal and Amazon Pay as alternative payment methods at no extra cost to you. If there is a problem with your chosen payment method, we will let you know.
Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the price of items (currently at 20% for the UK). We also display prices excluding VAT for business and trade purposes. For orders outside the European Union, please contact us instead so we can manually process your order without VAT; we cannot do this online. Delivery charges are not included in the price of items, and, as stated earlier, are applied separately at the checkout stage.
Please note that you will be charged for your order in full upon checkout, whether the product(s) you are looking to purchase are in stock or temporarily out of stock. This is to ensure fairness to all customers and to process/reserve stock on our system for everyone in the correct order.
If we discover an error in the price of goods ordered or reserved, we will inform you as soon as possible (e.g. prior to the goods being despatched). We will provide you with the option of re-confirming your order at the correct price (including charging you any difference) or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If your order is cancelled due to a pricing error, you will receive a full refund.

4. Our liability and consequential loss
The information and materials contained in this website, including, without limitation, text, images, and links, are provided on an "as-is" basis with no warranty that the information is accurate, complete or current (although we naturally do our best to ensure our website is as safe and accurate as much as possible).
On rare occasions, manufacturers may slightly alter the look or appearance of their products without informing us. Where this causes a small discrepancy between the text/imagery contained in this website vs the actual product, we will not accept any errors or blame arising from minor cosmetic changes made by manufacturers that do not affect their products' functionality or intended use.
Items purchased from us have a minimum of 12 months' warranty or guarantee, covered entirely by the original manufacturer only. Some specific items may be the subject of additional warranties or guarantees given by their manufacturers directly, which are set and are subject to change by their manufacturers. Any warranties or guarantees are not enforceable against us, but only against the manufacturer(s) giving them. We do not directly provide any warranties or guarantees ourselves that relate to the reliability and quality of the items we sell.
We accept no responsibility or liability for damage to any type of property, or injury to any person or animal, where and to the extent that the damage and/or injury arises from the negligence of us. In addition, we accept no responsibility or liability for, without limitation, the following:
- delivery delays not caused by us;
- loss of profit and/or loss of revenue;
- changes in your customer relations;
- charges from tradesmen and/or other businesses;
- losses not caused by any breach on our part;
- other factors beyond our control (see section 5 below);
- your own failures;
- any other indirect or consequential losses that were not foreseeable to both us and you when your order was accepted.
Any and all liability and/or claims must be enforced against the original manufacturer(s) of the item(s) you purchased.
5. Factors beyond our control
You agree that the following list contains examples of factors that are understandably beyond our control, and that we accept no responsibility or liability for, including, without limitation:
- acts of God/nature, flooding, storms, draught, earthquakes, tornadoes or hurricanes, other adverse weather, fires, explosions;
- epidemics or pandemics;
- legislation, industrial action, strikes, lockdowns;
- civil commotion, rioting, invasions, terrorism, war (declared or not), preparations for war;
- problems suffered by our suppliers, delivery couriers, or other providers;
- general transportation issues with railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport, or other means of public or private transport;
- impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks;
- you providing us with incorrect and/or incomplete information.
6. Privacy
We will naturally collect information about you, such as your name, address, contact details, and order details if you create an online account or place an order. This is purely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and to check the status of your order if you need us to. Your details will NOT be used for email or other marketing unless you have explicitly stated so, and even if you have agreed to this, you can change this at any time by contacting us or logging into your Account.
We use the latest security techniques to ensure your details are as safe and secure on our website as much as possible.
You agree that we may share small amounts of your information with an external company for the purpose of collecting independent customer reviews and feedback about us via email. We use an external company due to the unbiased nature of doing so. We also give some of your information on to delivery couriers and credit/fraud agencies (as required by law), all for obvious reasons. Aside from these, your details are not passed on to anyone else, and we will NEVER sell your details on to any third parties. 8. External websites
Occasionally we may link to external websites in the genuine hope that they will give you additional information, support, or other benefits relating to the items and/or services we provide. However, we accept no responsibility or liability for the accuracy, availability, quality, or practices employed by external websites, and you choose to visit them via our website entirely of your own accord and at your own risk.
9. Copyright
All rights in this website's design, text, images and other content, interfaces, and the selection and arrangements thereof belong to us and/or our licensors. All rights are reserved and are the property of their respective owners. Permission is granted only to electronically copy and to print hard copy portions of this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with us or using this website as a shopping resource. Any other use of materials on this website, including reproduction for purposes other than those noted above, modification, distribution, or republication is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action being undertaken.
10. General
By using and/or ordering from this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, update, add, or remove any terms, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, updates, and/or additions on subsequent visits and orders.
The contract made between us, and all our and your rights and obligations, shall be governed by English law, and any disputes arising under it shall be heard in English courts.
