We have had a Trevi Boost shower for many years which has given good service generally. We had a problem some months ago, when the flow reduced and the shower wouldn't get hot. This was fixed when I tried replacing the O rings on the cartridge, but the same thing has happened again. I wouldn't have expected the seal to go this quickly and wonder if I have made an error. The pack contained two sets of rings, and I will try it again, but I just want to ensure that they go on correctly. There are three rings, one smaller thicker, and two finer rings, one very slightly larger than the other. There are no instructions as to which ring to put where. Can you please help?
ThanksHi Trevor
Can you confirm the part number of the seal pack you purchased as there is normally 5 seals in total in the pack

I think I have this model of shower (looks the same) Recently it is proving difficult to turn off so that it doesn't drip. Pressure on the tap means it continues to turn past its normal stop and eventually it seems to stop the drip. The tap is slowly rotating around from its normal position. This is getting more and more difficult. I thought it was the tap rotating on the shaft but closer inspection (under the tile cover) shows the shaft rotating in the unit. Otherwise the shower is working OK. The unit is about 12 years old.
Hello,
It could be that the gear set, which controls the opening and closing of the flow cartridges, has worn down and therefore not turning the cartridges off properly. It could also be that the teeth inside the control knob have worn down therefore not gripping the gear set.
I would suggest looking at the gear set and control knob first to check for wear on the teeth before you replace anything.
Thanks. -
Hi we have a Trevino shower I believe it is this model looking at the diagram it turns on and runs for about 15 seconds and then reduces to a trickle
Could you help pleaseHello, either the flow valves are not opening, or the filters on the temp cartridge are blocked.

Hello I've got a customer with a trevi boost approx 22 yrs old but think it is coming to the end of its time but due to the great service received by it they are asking if they can have the same again so I'm wondering if this shower is still available as a whole unit or if there is a newer version as a straight replacement.
And also looking at your website it appears there is still a good amount of spairs available but for the cartridges it is about £250 am just wondering if this would be a more economic solution thanks davidHello, there is a new Boost, but it is not identical, there will be some plumbing to do, with that in mind, a new cartridge for the old one may be the best way forward.

we have a trevi boost which was fitted about 5 years ago. tink it was fitted with a mixer only cartridge. The temperature at the highest setting is only lukewarm. The hot water in is hot enough. What is the most likely cause please?.Could the ceramic cartridges need replacing?I.I have checked the hose and shower head. How can we flush the system if the flushing outlet is no longer produced please?
It appears the thermostatic cartridge may of failed and this is the reason for only tepid water coming through, link below shows the breakdown of the shower
