Hi I have a Triton Cara. When we switch off we have water running from the shower head. We've even switched off the power switch and it still doesn't shut off properly.....occasionally the water is gushing out almost like the shower is still switched on. We can get the water back to dripping only. Any advice as to what the problem might be would be appreciated.
Hello, the solenoid 83300450 is jammed open, if you replace the solenoid the problem should be resolved

Hello, it sounds like the pressure switch dropping out, you either have a low water pressure problem or the stab valve is faulty, part number P07810800

Had a new wc pan connector fitted. The plumber left the main water tap on full open position (full pressure). Triton Cara 9.5w unit worked first time but then water started gushing out of the PRD (Pressure Relief Device - 82800450). Tried to switch on and off but the problem still persists. What could have gone wrong? And what needs to be done to stop the water gushing out of PRD?
Hello, the prd needs to be replaced, it has probably blown as there is more flow rate now the stop tap has been opened fully, perhaps the shower head is slightly blocked causing too much back pressure. PRD is part number 82800450

Hi I have had a triton cara for 20 months and it now runs too hot, even at low settings .( It it is still possible to run it cold ) however any other setting ,and it goes straight to too hot. ( very hot)
Hello, overheating is nearly always caused by a partially blocked shower head or hose.
the slower the flow is the hotter the water gets -
