I have a Triton T80SI around 7 years old the pull cord power supply neon light is on, but the neon power light on the shower unit is not on and the shower wont run
Hello, this sounds like a failed solenoid valve, part number 83300450
-
With reference to the question about the neon indicator being on but having no flow, when doing a continuity test across the spades on the coil, if the solenoid is stuck shut should there be continuity or no continuity?
Hello, if there is continuity, the coil is o.k, but the mechanical part of the solenoid may be stuck, no continuity, the coil is burnt out.

I have a triton t80si bought 28.8.01.
It has started to run hot then cold, i have flushed the unit with shower head disonected.
I have cleaned the pipe and shower head, up intill now it has worked fine.
Any ideas.
Is there a rplacement part i need.
Thanks.
John.hello, if it runs very then cold, then the flow rate is too low, if it runs normal temp then cold then the Thermal switch on the top of heater can needs to be replaced.

my triton t80si is not heating up the water, there is Luke warm water when it's turned right up to number 10 could you advise me if its possible to repair it, thanks Susan
Hello, this is either a faulty outlet pipe/thermal switch or a faulty heater can, you need an electrician to test it.

Hi I seem to have a leak on my triton t80si (one that is connected straight to the mains supply). It appears to be coming from the Pressue Switch/flag assembly but I can't see this part on your list do you sell them? Thank you for your help Carl.
Hello, any leak in that area will be coming from the stab valve, part number P07810800

Came home to find my bathroom all steamed up like shower had been running, for some time, then later that night shower (Triton T80si) started to run again. This time could not stop water unless turned off at isolation switch. Manually suggests either faulty start/stop switch or Solenoid valve assembly. Is there a way to check/know which is at fault?
Thanks.Hello, your diagnosis is correct, test the solenoid coil for continuity, if it is closed circuit then it is the culprit, do the same for the switch.

shower is switched off but water keeps coming out of showerhead
It appears the solenoid valve is not completely shutting off, replacing it should cure the problem

Hi there,
I have a Triton T80si. The shower itself is fine, but we have constant problems with the fitting on the wall, which the shower head fit into. The first one split so the shower head wouldn't stay in place, so we bought a 'universal' fitting. Now the knob on the side , which should tighten up, so that the shower head stays in place
no longer does, hence we have had to tape it in place to be able to have a shower.
Do you sell the fitting needed, specifically for the Triton?
This seems a complicated email, so I do apologise.
Regards, Jill Walters.Hello, we do sell Genuine Triton spares, but it is likely the original design is not available, please can you measure the diameter of the slidebar and phone us on 0845 126 4141, we will offer a suitable alternative.

Perhaps the spare part I require isn't part of the Triton T80si electric shower as such. It is the plastic cover plate at the bottom of the bar on which the shower is mounted - concealing the screws fixing it to the wall. (A twin of the one at the top of the bar). Is that bar a common item for all Triton showers?
I am not a professional shower fitter. Just a member of the public!Hello, Trion use many different kits, can you e-mail a photo of the part to salesdesk@showerspares.com

triton T80 SI . neon indicator light on press for activation no water flow. plumber has checked water side - ok. think either stat control / solenoid valve. can you hlp please.
The normal problem with the shower when no water flowing is the soleniod has failed in the shut position. If you were to carry out a continuity test over the spades on the coil this will confirm the problem

hyia,my shower still works but cold water leaks out of the bottom of it
Hello, it is probably the PRD, you need to have the cover off the see where the leak is coming from. Consult a plumber, if you are unsure about attempting a DIY repair.

morning
on turning my shower on yesterday it tripped the power and i had to re set the rcd in fusebox. do i need a new element or just new on /off switch i also have been told it might be the pcb board please can you advise meHello, the most likely cause for the RCD to trip, is a short in the heater can, but as always it is best to consult a qualified electricain first.
